It's funny how people get shocked with the leaked pokephilia stories and I am like "I bet they've never played GameFreak's older game Pulseman where a human professor literally turned himself digital to make love with his digital waifu.
> In the 21st century, noted scientist and computer engineer Doc Yoshiyama had succeeded in creating the world's most advanced Artificial Intelligence. He called his creation C-Life and managed to make her aware, thinking and feeling. However, he soon found himself in love with this C-Life girl and wanted to be closer to her, so he digitized and uploaded himself into his computer core, where the two "made love" by combining his DNA and her program core. The end result of their love was the birth of a half human, half C-Life boy named Pulseman. Pulseman was unique in that he did not need to remain inside a computer to survive and had the power to channel electricity through his body, using it both as a weapon and as a means of quick transport through the power of Volteccer.

I mean I never played Pulseman either despite hearing about it a couple times, but the myth leaks don't surprise me either. Honestly I think they're pretty well-written attempts at folk stories rather than overly edgey creepypasta and slashfics.

Even if you have, the background story is only written at the manual. Still great game.

Wasn't Pulseman in Japanese-only, even on its SEGA Channel & NSO releases? It makes sense that westerners wouldn't pick up on it even if they've played it.

Quinty from Quinty.
Funnily enough, an unfinished remake of that game for SFC was one of the first things leaked, but nobody gave a shit about that one since it's not Pokémon.

Fucking a computer doesn't have the same connotations as fucking an animal. Also a good chunk of non-Pokemon GameFreak games didn't make it outside Japan.

Surprised. The Sumodude was quite a mystery for early Gen 3 romhackers.

Please explain.

Clearly not, having sex with a girl you recently gave birth to is an acceptable behavior socially. Nothing comparable to fucking other mammals or similar species, like horses and donkeys do even though they aren't the same species and the resulted child being an hybrid, the mule.

And, doesn't change the point made by OP, they have a record for this kind of stuff, it shouldn't surprise/shock people that much.

The only animal in the human Pokemon relationship would be the human.

Fantranslations and emulators exist. Also it got global release at both Wii and Switch. And since it's a platform game with barely any in-game text, language isn't an issue.

I did since I'm a Game Freak fan and I love some of their good non-Pokemon games like Quinty and Drill Dozer. But you're right: the majority of Pokemon fans don't give a shit about non-Pokemon games, something that even Game Freak acknowledge. Too bad even with their non Pokemon games, Tembo the Badass Elephant was their last good game. And it was produced by a foreigner that now has his own company since he realized that modern Game Freak sucks. Too bad his new game has cringe Calarts art style.

Pulseman did, nigga. Also it's the internet era. It's not hard to find which games a company made.

The Pulseman attract mode actually contains a very creepy hidden message: the AI warns Dr. Yoshiyama that by entering the virtual world he has given up on his humanity and he will never be able to go back, to which he replies that he doesn't care and proceed into baby-making

btw, a detail that isn't mentioned anywhere but supposedly was on the Wii Virtual Console eShop/manual/idk is that the villain of the game, Doc Waruyama is actually a corrupted version of Pulseman's father, this is only ever hinted at by the game when after the end of the attract mode we see Waruyama exiting the same computer Dr. Yoshiyama entered, and obviously the name "Waruyama" is just Yoshiyama + warui, which as we know means "evil" in Japanese

Also, Pulseman as a game fucking sucks overrated as hell by people who don't get past level 2 lmao
