I'm 33 and have been playing since gen 1 and for whatever reason XY was the most fun I've ever had with the franchise, and I thought the models looked like shit compared to the sprites from BW (lol) initially. I think the good online really helped, interest in battling was much higher (this place had actual threads for it). Also the time showdown really got bigger.Sucks so much was cut, the games are dear to my heart.
