>>56683245I'm mixed. I think left looks cooler in general, but feels a little more generic. Kinda looks like it'd be more at home as Kingdom Hearts mob or something. Right has a fun little concept to it and has a lot more personality. I think ultimately right was the correct choice, though maybe Karrablast's color scheme could have been altered a bit to fit the final evolution better. All in all, my takeaway is that Escavalier is actually a pretty underrated mon.
It doesn't even look that different, also the concept of a pokemon stealing another's shell and evolving is cool. Literally complaining about nothing.

I'm guessing they removed the horns and make the "helmet" less pointy because it looked pretty similar to Aggron's head. And they made the design overall rounder and stumpier.
