Never thought of it that way. I'm hoping for a late 2025 release personally. Between the Anime causing Z-A to be pushed back narrative, as well as some of the things being spread to clearly make Z-A sound as unappealing as possible, I would love it if every single one of them gets BTFO'd.

It's speculated to be tied to the anime,cuz one of the six heroes is a shiny raikkuza and the big bad boi antagonist has a shiny 10% zygardoggo. Add this to the new game release and a confirmed mega zygarde from the leaks,and you can see where this is going

I just remembered that I was checking the wiki entry from rayquaza a few days ago and found the information that the "-za" suffix is for "star constellations" in japan.

what if the game freak employe talking a "pokemon stars" didn't mean a - at the time current future game, but either the scrapped Z version or the plans to release content in a future game, and their first codename for Z-A was actaully "stars"? until they changed it later to "ikkaku"?

So with this game taking place in modern time, how are they gonna justify in the lore why kalos as a region only has 200 mons like pla in it rather than 450 like in the original games? Did lysandre plan actually succed in this timeline causing 50% of region the mons to get wipe out or somthing?
