I think Dynamax would've been cooler if there were giant bosses roaming the wild (like the Titans in Xenoblade, or whatever they're called). This actually happens in the story, but Leon deals with it off screen and pats you on the head.

I don't really see anyone asking for D-Max to come back and it's not considered an interesting mechanic from a gameplay standpoint the way Tera is. I honestly struggle to find anything about Dmax that's good that doesn't also apply to Mega Evolution.It definitely feels like Dmax was the generational gimmick made to be replaced the fastest.
Why were so many G-Max moves worse then their D-Max counterparts?

People saying that these being silly and rediciouclous as being a good thing are wrong. They look dumb. This is supposed to be some kinda boss battle move. And none of the dynamax pokemon aside from very few actually look cool and threatening. This is just a building wow. Who gets scared of buildings? Who thinks buildings are silly? It doesnt work at all for what its going for.
