don't read this it's about the boss fight if you don't wanna be spoiled, also it's rant. all of the regular godhood penalties, can't be status'd, can't lower stats, etc. can't set weather, party members are status'd after switching in so heal bell doesn't work, the two mvps of the team can survive 2-3 turns max. I trained up mr mime for baton pass shit and swampert for boosted muddy water, mime can't survive to do a pass. without stat boosts swampert can't even move the health meter 5%, a shiny mon with platinum card, max level, ev trained. After testing I find out tailwind works, so I try to stall with protect to get rid of it's black hole usage, tailwind, one single nasty plot and pass, it can't survive the turn it's passed in. stall, tailwind, plot, pass into empoleon with scald forgetting I can't fuse before taking damage, dies in one hit or is stalled from status. stall, tailwind into empoleon to fuse and swords dance, it switches out so apeptosis is still alive by the time tailwind ends. I gave up, used WT. Holy shit what a mentally ill ending to that entire questline, that almost makes the church burning thing in reborn seem good in comparison. Every part of the last four hours has been fucking terrible

You know, having a section in a game where you have to start from 0 with a way more limited pool of mons would be neat if it wasn't in the literal end part of the game and you also had to do the end of the game without even having to get those mons backSomething like that really should go in the middle at like around level 30 to 40 then you restart at 5 and when you get to those levels again you have access to the old stuff as wellIts specially retarded in this game where1 - you are expected to farm GP, Cards and maybe even shiny/plats so all those hours will be useless for the end2 - you also have to work quite a bit for ultimate items and rare mons from what I have seen and then you can't use them3 - if you got somehow managed to get a mon without putting in all the hours for cards, GP and so on to the end game you probably got attached to them and now you also can't use them4 - you also can't bring back the stuff you get in this so if you like any of the mons exclusive to here fuck you, you can't even bring them over to the main region and use them for the other endgame stuff5 - in universe the mons you beat the E4 stay with the MC for 2 years, and now you have to just leave them behind because reasons, even the ones you literally fuse with, oh yeah this area also ignores the entire fusion mechanic Fuck you just going to cheat in my starter
