Beat all the CPU challenges and exhausted all ways of pulling cards that don't require paypigging, is there anything left to do for me in this game?On another note, I believe people are sleeping on Pidgeot. I feel that this is going to become the best card in this pack in the long term. The ex-Pokemon are, apart from Moltres, just beaters and powercreep will come for them. Pidgeot's ability however is unique. It is an infinite supply of Sabrinas that doesn't use up the once per turn support card limit. As new cards get released that will make evolutions searchable or simply speed them up, Pidgeot will only become even more reliable. Its typing also makes it playable in any deck. I really love this card.

This game incentivises rushing the opponent down by maximising low-cost damage output, which is why the best decks are electric and psychic. Pikachu-ex needs no evolution and has an excellent cost to damage ratio. Psychic works because Gardevoir accelerates energy distribution. The drawback of ex-Pokemon awarding two points when beaten means nothing if they can rush the opponent down before that even happens. In such a speed based environment it is very hard to find opportunities to use strategies that tt ry to outlast the opponent, like Venusaur-ex or poison. I think the win condition should be changed to four points instead of three to weaken glass cannon decks.

I prefer this variant over the regular one. It's proving to be much more useful thanks to Rapidash. I've destroyed Mewtwos and Pikachus non-stop. If the main game is anything to go by, Charizard will only get stronger with new support

It'd still make Blastoise's 100 damage attack effectively cost 2 energy, for instance, and 160 for 4 energy, which is perfectly fine. Lots of water pokemon are balanced around 2 cost attacks as well, like Starmie, they definitely don't rely on Misty. It'd improve the consistency a lot, which night be a minor problem, but it'd also remove the stupid 1/4 chance that you win the game instantly when you play her.
