Not my fault that this is the most viable way to use Garde

So what is the issue?

Mewtwo slut

I blame Dena for simplifying the game so much there isn't a way to counter the best stradegy

at least ban it from the beginner tier, I'd like to not get assraped at least once

The energy zone is the biggest issue with the game. In the regular game you can have Mana drought which means that you need to balance the number of Pokemon trainers and energy cards. With only Pokemon and trainers the optimal strategy is the only Pokemon that you need and as many trainers as you can get away with because you're guaranteed energy after your first turn

Right now the game badly needs Energy Removal or Energy Denial because if your opponent sets up certain combos you can't win

Based OP

Energy Retrieval
If your opponent added an energy from their Energy Zone last turn add an energy from your energy zone to 1 Pokémon.

Energy Denial
During your opponents next turn energy doesn't generate
