Back when I was in school and pokemon was at it's peak everyone had pokemon cards, but no one had any idea how to play the game. We were all ESLs so we couldn't read any of the instructions either, so we pretty much made our own rules and reached an agreement on what each card didThere was this card with a lady carrying a basket full of pokeballs in a field of flowers. >>56898626I wish we had a set that focused on game mechanics like this. There's no reason we can't have most of the type boosters as tool cards that all have the same effect. Sure it can't be all 16 since the tcg consolidates some of the types, but you can at least cover all the types it does use.
