Just a cartoon platypus. imo a good Pokemon design is something that feels like the animal/thing it's based on but isnt an edgy/cartoonified version of it. Something abstract that makes you go "oh, that's a rabbit Pokemon" without looking too much like a real one. Nidoran is a good example.

Basically a monstrous hyena-like beast.Kalos is obiously based of France, Mightyena was in the Kalos Pokedex, and PLA gave a lot of cross-gen evos.I'd go with Dark/Fairy for the typing. Fairy matches the folklore/mythological aspect and is really good with Dark.
