So because of Hoenn's closeness to Kalos, what does the Pokeworld look like in canon? Ignore online features that connect to the real world, what does it looks like?
Probably something like this with some small changes.
>>56946405Okay Bird Keeper Toby. I thought you quit Pokemon.
>>56946405Yeah, definitely needs some tweaks. We know the Nature Reserve is underwater, inside Blueberry Academy, for one thing. Also, we know Faraway Island is near Guyana off the coast of whatever the Pokemon equivalent of South America is. Southern Island is in the wrong place, too - it's literally visible on the Hoenn map, right at the bottom.
>>56946405Is there any map without spin-off regions only the canon ones?
>>56946378>Hoenn being this close to kalos >Somehow AZ was busy doing his kalos war and french portrait without dying by primal groudon and kyogre were ragefighting the world with endless rain and lava earthquakes
>>56946405i should use inkarnate
>>56946378We weren't told.
>>56947264kys, literal faggot
>>56947265Groudon and Kyogre woke up after the war concluded since the meteorite was irradiated by the ancient weapon and then flew close by the planet after. But then there should still be a mention of chaotic weather patterns since Groudon and Kyogre are supposed to mess with that shit on a worldwide scale.tldr gf sucks at this
>>56946378like this.it's not close, he's a good swimmer or a dry comedian (about to be a wet comedian). But at least he sticks with his bit.He has to swim further because they didn't finish Gen 6, but not THAT much further.
Does the game actually say Hoenn is close to Kalos? Picrel looks like it could just be some kid joking about swimming to the other side of the world.
>>56946405>Aloha
>>56947412Hoenn Route 108's description says swimmers come from Kalos.A swimmer in Kalos's Azure bay says he came swimming from Hoenn.
>>56947389>the meteorite was irradiated by the ancient weaponThose events are at least 1000 years apart anon.
>>56946378>hoenn is near kalos>kalos is near paldea>paldea is far away from unova and kitakami >kitakami is near hoennthis does not add ap
>>56947491Paldea is seperated from Kitakami by Kalos and Hoenn and the two region gap is enough for people to consider the trip far
>>56947491>hoenn is near kalosThis was implied at best>kalos is near paldeaThis was never said. In fact fancy Vivillon's entry in XY imply the opposite.>kitakami is near hoennThis was never said.
>>56947517Wait, I mixed Xy with SV. But still, it was never said that Kalos was near Paldea.
Johto and Kanto are right next to each other, separated by Mt. MoonSinnoh is north of Johto, connected to each other by the Sinjoh ruins Hoenn is somewhere to the south of KantoHoenn and Kalos are close eniugh you can swim between them, though likely with some difficulty We can assume Galar and Paldea are close to KalosThe real monkey wrench in this equation is Kitakami Kitakami is said to be far away drom Paldea but near HoennHowever, Kitakami is close enough to Sinnoh that ancient Hisuian pokemon like Ursaluna and Kleavor can just swim over to KitakamiHowever, Sinnoh/Hoenn have to be decently far away from each other because it's FIRMLY established that Sinnoh is north of Johto due to the Sinjoh ruins
>>56947532>We can assume Galar and Paldea are close to KalosNo, we can't. real life basis already went out the window.>Kitakami is said to be far away drom Paldea but near HoennWhere?
>>56947468Aren’t they around the same time? 3k years or something?>event that caused the worship was some thousands of years ago>the mega evolution event was 1k years laterNever mind, they could be different.
The real answer is that GF has put zero thought into a world map
>>56947552What contradictions did you find?
>>56947264nopesorry
>>56946405>TCG IslandsIs there ANYTHING to suggest Pokemon are actually real in the TCG universe?
>>56947264Just do this
>>56947549The first Groudon and Kyogre fight was 2000 years ago. The second just after the meteor crashed was 1000 and that's the one AZ saw if I remember right.
>>56946405This isn't accurate in lots of ways, most notably Kalos only includes northern france, the south is cut out and therefore not cannon
>>56947532If we go by real world, then Johto (based on Kansai/Kinki) is closer to Hoenn (based on Kyushu) and Kitakami (Tohoku) is between Kanto and Sinnoh (based on Hokkaido), but closer to Sinnoh.
>>56947788>If we go by real worldThere would be no discussion.
>>56946405>OoreGo back
>>56947788We know that the real world japan lay out doesn't work because of the Sinjoh ruins. We have to confront that the same area is accessible from both sinnoh and johto
>>56947992That's true, but doesn't Amity Square in Platinum still show Sinnoh as an island just like real-world Hokkaido?
Theyre not close, swimmers just have unnatural, superhuman stamina. There are various examples of humans with extraordinary physical feats, like psychics, giants, and strongmen. My head anon is that humans have slight type affinities, and swimmers are part water type. Even just the fact that they are able to swim around deep oceans, sometimes far from land, while the player has to surf on a Pokemon, shows that they are much more adept at swimming than the average person.
>>56947532In black/white there is a line of dialogue where Skyla chastises Cedric for using her cargo plane for personal travel and she states "And you're talking as if places like Kanto and Sinnoh are right around the corner!" Meaning we know Unova is at least a fair distance from those 2 regions.
It's still the real world, that NPC is just that powerful of a swimmer. We know people in the PokeWorld can basically indefinitely swim after all.
>>56947728Holon, which has native Pokemon that are demarked as "unusual" compared to other places?
>>56946405We know Kitakami exists and that exists in real life as part of the Tohoku Region of Japan below Sinnoh in this case. Almia is also connected to Sinnoh/Tohoku in real life, so it stands to real it would connect as well, and Oblivia are based on islands to the north of Fiore, which is the Northwest/North of Johto, where part of Kalos would be on this map. It's safe to say that Japan in it's entirety exists in the Pokeworld.
>>56948888This.
