>have been doing casual gold print runs attempts in Emerald and HGSS Battle Factory>decided to do super-serious attempts>took me a couple months to nail the Emerald gold run, around 30 tries in total (though that's because I've been doing HG attempts mostly)>took me several months of daily attempts to finally win the HG gold because I keep losing to statistical improbabilities>swore off Battle Factory>around a month and a half later played Battle Factory again for fun because I needed my Pokemon fix>got an Emerald gold streak in only 10 tries>sure I guess>got the HG gold streak in LITERALLY THE SECOND ATTEMPTShould I be impressed at myself or mad at the game? I feel like it's taunting me by saying: "teehee you could've beaten "The Impossible Challenge" a bajillion times by now had I let you :3" Anyway for those considering attempting Battle Factory gold print runs I'd say it's more of a challenge of persistence compared to a challenge of skill, regardless if you look at guides. For me I didn't look at any guides and made my own notes so I guess I should be proud of that. Also speaking from experience a gold run will need to have a clutch moment or two, like hitting Focus Blasts when you need to, or the opponent missing a Thunder, or not getting paralyzed when you have one turn of HP left.
who cares lol
It's the random roll facility, so hey.
>>56950152You could argue that, after all the bad luck got out of the way, the string of good luck has finally arrived, but it reinforces the idea that luck is a defining component in Battle Factory. I don't care much for the other facilities, but the impression I'm getting is that it's the same for them, particularly for Battle Tower.
