>>56957590Hey! Let go of that!
>>56953282
>>56960295Not too different from official art of Dynamax Espeon. Likely inspired by it.
>>56960757Was this art ever releasdy by itself?
>>56959227I haven't played SwSh, but can all pokemon get big? Aren't there two of them? Dynamax and Gigantamax? Can all of them do the smaller of the two?
>>56960967Every pokemon can be giant (dynamax) and gigantamax isn't bigger it just changes the visual design instead of simply sclaing up.Only exception being Zacian and Zamazenta, they can't do it.
>>56961018Oh. I thought giganta- was bigger. Does the game explain why only some pokemon change form and not others? I really should play them at some point, but I find it hard to when I constantly hear that they're shit, and they don't have the national dex. every time I cross-reference what pokemon aren't in SwSh with my favorites list, I get bummed out. And frustrated.
>>56961076Gigantamax changes the appearance, usually to something giant theamed, and gives access to signature max moves to whichever pokemon has it.For example regualar max ghost move lowers defence as a secondary effect, but if used by the mouth of hell Gengar it trapps instead
>>56961378no, I get that.what I'm wondering is if the game gave lore as to why only some pokemon got their own special kaiju theme, whereas others didn't?What lore reasons make some pokemon change form, and others just get big? Or did the games not say.
>>56960757Probably>>56960954Not to my knowledge
I wonder if cities have people to deal with Dynamaxed Eeveelutions running around. Seems like giant Espeons sleeping on roofs would be a common complaint.
>>56963004I think pokemon can only dyanamax in specific spots, so they can't freely roam around cities
>>56953282What if instead of a giant Eevee, it was a girl in an Eevee suit.
>>56961076>>56961597>Does the game explain why only some pokemon change form and not others?>What lore reasons make some pokemon change form, and others just get big? Or did the games not say. It's some kind of gene or innate characteristic or something like that which some of them have (Don't remember the exact reason but it's something like that), those with it when you Dynamax them will change into a different form instead of just simply getting bigger. There was DLC where you could get materials to make a soup that when fed to a Pokemon that can Gigantamax will make it have that gene, or remove it if you feed it to one that already has it. Also it was kinda funny that this DLC had you eat the soup too and had the NPC flat out ask you if you can also feel the Dynamax energy swelling within you as a small red cloud spins around you for a second... only for that NPC to say that you are basically lying if you say yes because it has no effect on humans. Felt like the devs trying to slap down people who would try to claim it can make humans giant... not like that stopped artists.> but I find it hard to when I constantly hear that they're shitI wouldn't say they're shit, they did some things well, but they are far from the golden era of Pokemon games. Might just be meh at worst, but I wouldn't say they are bad games.>every time I cross-reference what pokemon aren't in SwSh with my favorites list, I get bummed out. And frustrated. That sucks :( The majority of my favorites made it in, especially with the DLC. Though it really sucks for me that the Fennekin line did not.
>>56961018>Only exception being Zacian and Zamazenta, they can't do it.It's not that they can't do it, it's more that their very existence is to nullify/combat Eternatus's power, which is what basically every other Pokemon is borrowing when they Dynamax. Both Zacian and Zamazenta's signature moves deal double damage to Dynamaxed Pokemon.>>56963032>I think pokemon can only dyanamax in specific spotsAt least above ground, under ground some seem to be able to sustain it longer/indefinitely as long as they are in a general area. Also a very very small amount, such as Calyrex, can Dynamax on their own. The game still restricts you to standard Dynamax spots for gameplay reasons, but lore-wise he's Dynamaxing under his own power and not by borrowing Eternatus's power from a Power Spot. This is why instead of red, he has a blue hue around him and blue clouds when Dynamaxed.
>>56963032The spots can be added or moved. There's a plotpoint about the dark type gym leader not liking the pointless spectacle and refusing to instal it in his gym
>>56963600>not like that stopped artistsDLC came out long after everyone made up their minds
>>56963626Everyone had made up their minds decades before SwSh announced Dynamaxing anyway
>>56953282If your Eevee hugs you realy hard on the 3rd turn of Dynamax will you shrink back with it?
>>56963882Ha ha ha, don't be silly, of course not......help
>>56963996Don't worry, Jolteon's totally helping you out! It's not like it's planning to overcharge and blow up your Neo-One, ensuring your continued status as a tiny toy! Your Eeveelutions have your absolute best interests in mind, and aren't planning on keeping you hidden while your friends and loved ones slowly give up searching for you!
>>56963882I hope
>>56964035>planning on keeping you hiddenWhere they totally wouldn't try to hide you?
>>56964296Hide you deep in their fur, hide you among their toys, sit on you/pin you under a paw when someone comes looking for you, the degenerate insertion/vore fetish scenario that you're totally not secretly hoping for, etc.
>>56964035Jokes on them, I actually like being their toy
>>56963602>At least above ground, under ground some seem to be able to sustain it longer/indefinitely as long as they are in a general areaYeah, but it can only be done in specific places, right? Dynamax dens or whatever they're called. So my point still stands
>>56964380>sit on you [...] degenerate insertion scenarioThey'd quickly sit on you to hide you and then wonder where you went
>>56963882I don't think a human would shrink with it once it returns to normal size. But I'd still like to be hugged really hard by a Dynamax Eevee.
The fluffiest bed
>>56965986Watch out if the Gigantamax one wants to hug you. Its Gmax Cuddle inflicts infatuation
>>56966177How is that a problem?
>>56964035>>56966177Total lies and propaganda! Don't listen to what those Eevee haters say!
>>56966323>>56964035>>56966177My Eevee would nev-
>>56953282clifford the big red dog lookin ass
>>56965952I'm sure if another one spots you sticking out from fellow Eeveelution's backside it's gonna help you get out and not smugly grin before walkign away
>>56967885First of all, that's too bigSecond of all, those paws look weird. Why only draw the big pad and not the pads on the toes?
>>56967163Don't be silly Anon, of course they would help you get out.Not for your own sake of course, but so they can have you for themselves instead.
>>56967866>The mental shock of an Espeon running into a dark-type that big
>>56967930>First of all, that's too bigOr is it not big enough?Notice that Lucario and Dragonite are already Dynamaxed
>>56967930>too big???
>>56968087>>56968559Yes, too bigIt wouldn't be practical to have a giant vee that destroys everything just by existing
>>56967930Blame the Pokemon company for that one. Eevee doesn't have toe beans, just the central pad.Same with a lot of Pokemon actually.
>>56968599>It wouldn't be practical to have a giant vee that destroys everything just by existingTechnically several Pokemon like Macargo would already do that anyway without even needing to be giant if their Pokedex entries are to be believed.
>>56968627WeirdStill, I think it would've looked better to draw it with normal looking paw pads
>>56953282That's sexo
>>56968657Well, the dex clearly isn't trustworthy, because of entries like the Magcargo you brought up
>>56968627Are we sure that's not just a devs being lazy with low-detail models thing? Have we ever seen it's pawpads in any official art that was of higher detail?>>56968755So then clearly that means massively huge Eeveelutions would be just fine!
>>56968803>So then clearly that means massively huge Eeveelutions would be just fine! How did you come to that conclusion? The dex isn't trustworthy, but that doesn't mean really big Pokemon would be harmless. Those two things aren't related at allIt's just common sense that a Pokemon hundreds of feet tall would easily cause a lot of damage
>>56968803It's always been like that both in the anime and games. I can't think of any official examples to the contrary. The Pokedex even has it's footprints recorded in gen 3-5.I think it's reasonable to treat it as an under-drawn design element though. It's not like Pokemon is consistent with minor detail work. For example Jolteon's paws changed from gen 4-5. Going from no pads to one. Espeon is toeless on it's front feet except for all the times the anime draws it differently. It's really not something Gamefreak cares about.

>>56968938>from the toes to the earsThat's dumb. Why not measure to the top of the head?
>>56968938The m stands for mile, not meter
