This is another one of those long rants Empire has, but it feels neat in a way, like a far less unhinged version of that one from Sylas and his father and kind of a neat perspective on family, that children need a father figure to mold them into proper adults and that taking the easy way out on things will often bite you in the ass hard eventually.
