I'm just not playing Charizard ex anymore. The consistency is not there compared to other meta decks. Mewtwo ex isn't crippled when it can't draw Kirlia and Gardevoir, but it's exceedingly hard to win many matchups with Moltres ex alone if you can't draw Charneleon or Charizard. The passive playstyle is kind of lame too. Setting charmander in the back, letting Moltres take attacks, hoping you don't get three tails on turn two again (Moltres' favorite practical joke to pull), hoping you can draw the two more cards you need to evolve AND in a timely order, but two Charmeleons are sleeping at the bottom of the deck. Playing a stage 2 Pokemon is just cucked for now until we get consistency options for them. I finally accept this

Made a deck that’s 2x Greninja line, 2x Venomoth line, 1x Articuno. Just played 5 games and went 4-1. The only game I lost was to an Articuno Ex deck with highroll Misty turn 2. I genuinely have the most fun with this game whenever EX pokemon aren’t involved and I hope to God they release a queue in the future that restricts this. I know they won’t, because that would be fun, but I huff all the hopium that they will.

I got bored of winning all the time with Mewtwo (4 basics, 2 potion 1 fossil suck my cock) so I've been playing Blaine Aggro. Ninetails is strong. I added a Farfetch'd bc I wanted another beater and he's been great. This deck is really low to the ground and makes great use of Sabrina and Blain. The Misty supporter is the single worst designed card I have ever seen. Letting it be used on ANY water type makes every single game against Articuno a total chore. I think Pikachu is just so overrated BTW. I played with lots of variations.Raichu I decided I like and then wavered back saying I like it, but ultimately I feel that it lacks consistency even with magnets and 2 Lt. surge. I'm a simple man and I play electrode and zebra. Zebra is just the best random basic electric and electrode plays as 2 more conditional x-speeds to really maximize your chances of swinging on turn 2/3 with Pika for 90, which is how you win most games. There were so many times where I had raichu and nothing else going on where a simple electrode would have races this articuno. I love to hear other people's thoughts on how they're building Pika.Also, maybe I'm retarded, but Zapdos EX is super mid and I just play 1. The first Zapdos Ex is a reasonable plan B in slower games and a meat shield against other aggression, but the 2nd has a very large marginal return to your game plans. Pincurchin or whatever it's called is the definition of medium. Elektrode is just super solid.

So I've been able to make the game playable with Bluestacks using the Trim Memory function, that seems to clear all of the leaked memory. You have to keep redoing it every few minutes since the leak still happens but it beats restarting the whole emulator each time.

Honestly the removal of prize cards and the addition of an energy zone are all great changes over live, but I'd still want everything else from live. If we had a game like live/the real TCG but with 6 points instead of prizes and an energy zone mechanic (and I guess 40 card decks to compensate), it would be perfect. These are really the only advantages pocket has over live, everything else is worse.
