Allthough I got a 1/4 once because I ran into a primape lead TWICE and then lost a game I was garunteed to win because I banked a hydro cannon on my ninja and farmed down a gatr with my 5% hp sandslash to have an ice punch ready for a full health gastrodon, until they put the fucking gastrodon out, and the game decided to framedrop the second it came out, so my charge move was denied, sandslash died, and it took a hydrocannon and reached earth power just before I got to a second move.

Even with the passive buffs Niantic have made to various Pokémon over the years, the only normal-types that have been able to break the mold are Ursaring, Girafarig and Bibarel. For some reason, a lot of the non-bulky normal-types lack coverage, even though normal-types are well-known for their diverse coverage (e.g., Furret is stuck with Brick Break, Dig and Hyper Beam). Even then, a lot of normal-types that get coverage are stuck with really expensive or mediocre coverage moves that can only work with bulky normal-types or when shields are down (e.g., Kecleon gets Aerial Ace, Foul Play, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunder and Shadow Sneak).The best solution I can think of besides broadly giving normal-types better coverage is to give them more of the elemental punches. Many of these normal-types can learn one if not all of the elemental punches, and now that Niantic has made them more usable, increasing the amount of Pokémon that can learn it would at least give them some utility in cups. They could also add Double-Edge as a move similar to Wild Charge, Close Combat or Brave Bird. It wouldn't add coverage, but it would at least grant quick pressure for normal-types with higher attack stats than the bulkier ones.

The thing about this pokemon is that it is one, egglocked behind 7ks, two, an alternate form of a region locked pokemon, so nobody is going to have what they need for three, the fact it is an XL requiring pokemon, and finally, four, this pokemon is special in that it loses a ton of really important meta matchups if you don't have the perfect PVP IV, which is unobtainable with an egglocked pokemon, unless you roll the dice with trades with low friendship/low level accounts. So this pokemon is a literal pay to grind extensively, like REALLY extensively and win pokemon. So nobody is really going to have it in large numbers for a very long time, unless it becomes a wild spawn for an event or something where people can get a good IV and the XLs they need. Even then, its still a brand new XL pokemon.

A 5 attack Gcorsola could survive the karate chops and either force them to RF a 4th time to KO or shield and farm down if you wanted.Dewgong is one where your opponent needs to throw Drill Run and not Icy Wind at you, at least once, to KO even the hatch perfect. if you no shield the first two icy winds (lets face it, it's a dewgong player, they just click IW over and over) you can get to 3 power gems to KO, though after one Power gem a nightshade KO's anyways even with -3 attack.Drifblim and Gatr though, those are legit drops the hatch loses out on which could or could not be important depending on the meta you're in.tldr; 10 attack Gcorsola are good enough to build and play with while trying to trade for 5 attack or below. Not even that much XL candy for it either, 76XL is all, you get that pretty quickly walking/hatching.

The only issue with playing while jogging is you need a fucking auto spinner unless you want to be looking down every minute to spin a new stop. When I jog i put it in auto spin and auto catch and just do routes. I'll do the two big routes at the park and put my phone away on the jog home. As far as if it's worth it, it depends on what you're trying to do. Doing raids and all that to get legendary and mega Pokemon will require a group. It’s also a pretty short event, suggesting it’s probably only there to throw a half-chewed bone to people that can’t beat Gigantamax Lapras or fused Necrozma. Hopefully we’ll get some decent Pokémon to raid next month, because nothing in raids this event/month besides I guess hunting for shiny Drampa or Jangmo-o interests me.

I've really grown to really, fucking despise the Ultra League for how bs the commonly used overpowered Pokemon are broken and with how extremely expensive it is to spend stardust on reaching the maximum level only for the Pokemon you raised to be complete shit.At least with the Great League you can circumvent the overused Pokemon with some gimmick moveset to throw them off balance, but Ultra League is just a giant fuck-you if you don't prepare enough. All of this just to get a Pikachu costume that you can't transfer to home, only seen as a "completion reward" for reaching the highest rank.
