And one charatcer leaves and then the other character comments on the NPC who just left the scene, give me a fucking break. What I liked was hunting down the sages post league. Anyway, now that the story is done, the good part, that is, battling, can be enjoyed without interruption =)

Also the grunts were shown to be scared of Ghetsis's apparition anyway, so that's further proof that they acted alone in their violence towards Munna anyway.The awareness and complexity is undeniable.

Cheren and Bianca stop you at the beginning, middle, and end of every single town and route to say the exact same things they have been since the beginning of the game. They each have a single turning point around the fourth gym, and then most of their dialogue afterward devolves into nothing again. You could trim down the appearances of every story character by around 75% or so and they would get the exact same ideas across with the same impact.

What ISN'T believable is the team members all being carbon cut copies of each.others' personalities as if they came off a clone factory. Team plasma did a good job of showing how, in order to make the team, Ghetsis had to appeal to people of DIFFERENT viewpoints and goals to build a coalition, using lies and scapegoating. That includes the jerks that you're complaining about who think that temporary pokemon suffering justifies the eventual goal of pokemon liberation (like n who battles to eliminate battles), the ones who are purists and joined to heal and protect pokemon (future N loyalists), the ones who despise human actions and think they need to be ruled and thus disarmed (future Neo team plasma members), and many other views we get to see through Team Plasma's dialogue. This is more believable, not less.
