Cogita is immortal and likely centuries old, so she's probably way more distantly related while it seems like Volo is a more recent edition to the bloodline and very well could be Cogita's own descendant or just one of the last of the Celestic people left besides herself. They all just look like that for some reason because you need to know that they're related to Cynthia.
