What was it's deal?
By leads to Sinnoh, do they mean a physical path, a portal or just the fact the fuckers are there?
>>
It's an effigy of the Sinnoh region to pay tribute to the Lake Guardians. As such, they are drawn to it the same way they would be drawn to the three sacred lakes in their home. It's like an embassy or a "Little Sinnoh" of sorts.
>>
>game blatantly lies to the player about having another region accessible
why is that? i like gen 5 as much as the next guy (even if it's not my favorite) but this is just inexcusable
>>
>>57160266
>They say
implies it to be a rumor of some kind rather than actual fact
>>
>>57160266
>Rumors say the cave leads to another region
>A player goes deep into the cave and finds the body of a hiker wedged in a deep crevice
>Press A button
>Obtain six empty Pokeballs and hyper potions
>Press A again
>Get text box that reads "There's a hiker in the wall...and he smells real bad."
>"He doesn't seem okay."
>>

That’s Cynthia and Caitlin’s secret sex spot. Don’t worry about it.
>>
>>57160266
Isn't Unova supposed to be the USA? Which is the opposite of Japan.
Maybe it's an equivalent of if you dig deep enough, you'll end up in China
>>
>entire point of unova in BW1 is that it’s distant from all the other regions and that old pokemon are rare to nonexistent
BW2:
>LOOK AT ALL LE OLD POKEMON THAT MAGICALLY APPEARED AND ACTUALLY UNOVA IS CONNECTED TO SINNOH BECAUSE WE NEED A LAZY WAY TO SHOVE THESE OLD LEGENDARIES INTO THE GAME AND ALSO ALL THE OLD CHARACTERS ARE SLAPPED INTO THIS BRAND NEW TOURNAMENT!! REMEMBER THEM??
bw2 was a mistake

Wasn't the oldgen mons appearing in Unova because of a breakout at the Pokemon Transfer Lab?

BW2
gives a unique location coherent lore-wise to all legendaries from other regions.
Gen 6+:
generic location for each legendary
>>

sister regions chud

>entire point of unova in BW1 is that it’s distant from all the other regions and that old pokemon are rare to nonexistent
true, but only until endgame

>LOOK AT ALL LE OLD POKEMON THAT MAGICALLY APPEARED
this is mostly fault of fans who hated unova because there were only new Pokemon

>ACTUALLY UNOVA IS CONNECTED TO SINNOH
only by lore, we don't know what that means, maybe it's just fact that lake guardians live there naturally
>>
BW was kino and BW2 was the copeslop that they shat out to appease genwunners. Pokemon has been shit ever since.
>>
>unovafag seething thread #1391
Why do you guys care that everyone else thinks gen 5 is shit?

I made this thread to shit on unova
>>

Why do you think about trannies so much?
>>
>>57160266
>they say
So it’s just a rumor. Masuda’s notes also said that UMA don’t actually have power over spirit anyway, and he has said openly that the Sinnoh folktales are just made up. It’s just a Sinnoh-y cave really.
>>
>>57161711
masuda is retarded THOUGH
>>
>>57161643
>but only until endgame
woah unova magically moves next to sinnoh after the credits?

>this is mostly fault of fans who hated unova because there were only new Pokemon
so their solution was to make unova even worse?

>only by lore,
evidently not since the cave nonsensically resembles the ones in sinnoh and the sinnoh legendaries literally show up for no reason.
>>
>>57161752
>woah unova magically moves next to sinnoh after the credits?
im talking about old pokemon, but I guess you need to purposefully misunderstand my point to feel like youre right

>so their solution was to make unova even worse?
you think that unova Pokemon are better than older ones?

>evidently not since the cave nonsensically resembles the ones in sinnoh and the sinnoh legendaries literally show up for no reason.
so small cave with spashes of water suddenly make them sinnoh like?
>>

Actually I don't care what other people think. Also statistically more people like Unova than those who hate it.
>>
>>57160527
And most rumors related to Legendary Pokemon tend to be 100% factual, based on the track record of how Pokemon's lorebuilding surrounding legendaries work. That's why the Pokedex features rumors and legends about them as if they were fact.
>>
>>57162679
> And most rumors related to Legendary Pokemon tend to be 100% factual
Not really. Almost nothing about legendaries is ever shown concretely, just circumstantial evidence that would explain why people would have possibly come to the conclusions written about them. Dev comments, both publicly and in the teraleaks, outright confirm most of the legendary cutscenes are “smoke and mirrors” essentially and the antagonists are just talking out of their asses.
>>
>>57160266
it means kino was planned as an option
>>
>cant even visit sinnoh
they got real lazy after gen 3
>>
>>57162679
>tend to be 100% factual
Not necessarily, there's a lot of legends but not many that have been substantiated. I can't image there being a new volcano every time an Entei user's Pokemon "barks". Lugia has never caused a 40 day storm in the anime despite plenty of fighting and Mew can't learn Crabhammer
>>
>>57160266
>What was it's deal?
“we are lazy and can’t think of any way to shove old legendaries into this game in a way that actually makes sense because we’re desperate to pad this rehash with content”
>>
>>57160373
They didn't lie scrub. It's in there. You just lack the skills to unlock it.
>>
>>57165798
That perfectly describes the newer gens. From what I can recall, most of the legendaries that returned in Gen 5 appear in locations that make sense and usually have some form of quest tied to it. Sadly from Gen 6 onwards that has gone downhill, now they just do generic portals or something.

I didn't quote the part of the post that says "coherent lore-wise" for a reason, dude. Coherent or not it still doesn't mean they weren't just placed on location X and called it a day.

Do Unovafags really?
>>
I hope they do it for real in B3W3 or whatever our next Unova trip will be. They could've even done it in PLA.

Just visit three small patches of Sinnoh where the Lakes are, or if for some reason it's another Sinnoh game, these area can be used to fast travel between the three lake areas.
