Second time through Emerald Legacy. Just like last time, each mon has 8 letters in their name. I thinking of doing a 7 or maybe a 9 letter team next. I got pokerus (not sure if the hack increased the odds of it). The top three members got nice buffs and were fun to use. I really like the new mon distribution both in the wild and with trainers (especially Team Magma/Aqua). I noticed a strange bug that I'm not sure if it's unique to this hack or if the vanilla game had it too. One time, I switched out Dusclops, my opponent used Pursuit and it said that it didn't affect Dusclops when it should've been super effective.

A lot more trainers use weather moves so you can use that to your advantage. Endgame moveset was Weather Ball, Rain Dance, Thunder, Ice Beam. I was using Thunderbolt prior to Ice Beam because there were a lot of water types that I'd rather one shot rather than take up an extra turn for Rain Dance and leave myself open.
