Like with the rest of Gen 5. You made your bed. Lie in it.

I think it's fine. The evo design is a little lacking. But it fits the idea of a simple farm pig. If you want more boar you have the swinub line.
Plus I think it's shiny is really cool.

My only gripe with it, is that it lacks pretty much anything to make it stand out from other pokemon. It's got a little bulk but it's definately no dubwool.

That is quite ignorant actually. There's an animal called "Lechón" in European Spanish in which Lechonk is based. Paldea is based in Spain

Unless you consider "chonk" to be a meme, the "le" part is not at all in this case. It doesn't mean "the", in Spanish you would say "el lechón". Also "chon" was already in the name, they just added a "k"

And that's one of the most important animals in Spain (more so than the bull) given that they make Jamón out of it, and you can't get more Spanish than that

Oinkologne is a "Cerdo de Bellota", and Lechonk is a "Lechón aka Cochinillo"

Both among Spanish more traditional foods (lechones are killed at three weeks old so they never grow up, and cooked whole)

Of course the Paldea mons are based in Spain. Smoliv and Paldean Tauros and Lechonk being the most obvious ones, but they mostly are (Quaquaval, Grafaiai, Ceruledge...)

In Galar they had the tea pokemon, the stonehenge pokemon, the leprechaun pokemon, etc

For France the poodle, usa the trashbag, etc

Arctibax and Baxcalibur are Concavenators (Spanish only genus of dinosaurs, with the big back plate and the hand frills)

Floragato of course is the Iberian lynx

And, pretty fucking obscure, but there's an uncanny resemblance between Mabosstiff and Dani el Rojo (Spanish ex mafia guy that was Messi's bodyguard at some point). Recognicable by his huge jowl

Also Ceruledge is pretty epic so I might as well explain. Likely based on Cid Campeador, historic Spanish warrior that had 2 famous swords (one of them named Tizona, as in ashes). Said to win battles after the dead, since they would sit its corpse on his horse and the enemy would just retreat of fear upon sight

Charcadet and its evos ARE carbon, mostly burned pieces of wood that don't become ash
