What do you think of Alakazam?
>>57173759Cool fella
really cool pokemon that is way too frailgen 3 alakazam with elemental punches pre phys/spec split is badass
I don't use trade evo mons mon
>>57173759black knight halberd of gen 1. love him
>>57173759I thought he was one of the coolest looking gen 1 mon.
>>57173759Very cool, but by the time I get access to its line I already have a dedicated special attacker or Psychic mon
Using trade evos is cheating, no one would willingly give their competition a good Pokemon, and no one would agree to a trust trade with their competition, so that only means you traded with yourself
>>57173759Whatever Alakazam wants me to think.
overrated jobmon
>>57173759technically the supreme being of the pokemon universe with his 5000+ IQfor reference, an ant's IQ is estimated to be like ~5. a human's IQ is about 100. so the IQ gap between us and Alakazam is WAAAYYYYY bigger than us and ants. ants cant comprehend anything about our consciousness, so for ants to somehow "argue" whether we run the world or not is futile. so debating whether Alakazam runs the world is futile for us, at its IQ level>b-but the pokedex entries citing a 5000 IQ are false, in canon they're written by 10-year-old trainersno, retard. jews exist in the pokemon world (Santa exists therefore Christianity exists therefore Jews exist). If Professor Oak and these other professionals were giving out pokedexes with unvetted info, and a child got injured, every Jew in the pokemon world would class-action lawsuit the pokedex creators. Pokedex entries are peer-reviewed
Unironically one of my favourite Pokémon and lines.
>>57173759Cool nigga before the physical/special split, didn't care for him afterwards
he's pretty sick and a lot of fun to use, moreso in later gens since i feel the reduced coverage from losing special punches and gaining a powerful ability in magic guard made it feel much more specialized as a glass cannon
>>57173759I really liked Alakazam as a kid, and I still like Alakazam now. The fucked up thing is that it's a trade evo. I remember the game boys had that infrared sensor and me and my bro tried using that to trade, but it didn't work. We later got a cable for trading... but I actually don't ever remember using it. Like, I remember really liking Alakazam, but I also remember being sad because I couldn't get an Alakazam, and I didn't want to use Kadabra because I didn't like its big butt tail... but at the same time, I do remember we did get a link cable at some point. I don't know why we never traded or battled. Maybe we were kids and we were too stupid to figure out that you can trade the Pokemon and then trade back. Or maybe we were too stupid to go catch an extra Abra or whatever. Or maybe by the time we finally got the link cable, we had beaten the game and the Elite Four a hundred times and just didn't want to play anymore. I never really thought about this until now. I remember getting a link cable at some point, but I don't remember actually trading or battling with my bro. I wonder why we never did that. Did the cable not work too? Anyway, yeah, Alakazam is cool.
Trade evos are not for peasants such as myself so I don't think anything of it, having never seen one on my side of the screen.
