I didn't like that the trainer teams didn't get many updates. There are sections of Aqua/Magma grunts that all have the same Pokemon just left in the game like there was nothing wrong with it.

So many good mechanics added, but they refused to fix many lacking things about RS (even some stuff that was fixed in Emerald) and fucked it up

Yes because emarald lacks fairy type physical special split hidden abilities choice items proper double battles Pokemon from gen 4-6 megas online etc
