I was just laying in bed listening to Pokemon videos and then I was hit with a huge wave of suicidal ideation thinking about how I'll never live in the Pokemon world. I wish these amazing creatures existed so badly, I want nothing more than to specialize in my favorite type and raise them with love and care and form lifelong bonds with them. Does anyone else get the same way?
>>57176963You're not alone anon, I hate basically everyone and thing and just wish I could have a simpler life in the Pokémon world
>>57177067Do not hate the world, for it gave us Pokemon and allowed it to become popular.
>>57176963>>57177067Stay strong bros, things can always get better.
>>57177527Don’t listen to this guy, livestream shooting yourself your life will never get better and if you livestream your suicide you’ll be famous forever
>>57176963Are you sure it's that and not you wanting to live in an anime world? After all every piece of pokemon media is presented in an anime style. Animals could pretty much be considered Pokemons just less powerful than some but there really isn't much separating a rattata from a rat and if the specific Pokemons existed in real life they would look a lot worse than how they do in video games, this is because of the way this world looks, it has way too many details whereas anime has less details and everything is more lighted up and smooth therefore it just looks better and more appealing.
>>57176963I had this exact same issue a few years ago, but I remedied it in the weirdest but probably healthiest way possible.sure, you might not ever be able to live in the pokemon world, but that doesn't mean you can't bring them to our world.get some figurines or some plushies, bring em with you when you go for a walk, take photos of them where you feel they'd fit well into in the real world, and badda bing badda boom.sometimes, anon, all you need is just some autism and some imagination.
>>57177527Gay.
Just get a pet
>>57176963I got that feeling when i watched Pokemon Concierge on Netflix. Girl had the dream job, working on a beautiful island with amazing pokemon and all the while receiving a livable wave.
>>57178314Straight.
>>57177513That's fair but the world is ugly>>57177527It can get worse too, some people just aren't meant to be happy >>57178301That's cute anon
you're going to die anywaydon't keep suffering because people with healthy lives want you to
>>57176963Same sentiments here.
>>57179016How do I escape this man?Idk how to not suffer but also have food and shelter to survive
>>57176963Nerrrrd
>>57176963You can always try lucid dreaming. It's not living in the pokemon world, but it's better than nothing
>>57178662> the world is uglyThat's what (you) believe. But the world is a beautiful place! It's really just what >>57177513 said. The Pokémon world is merely a reflection of our world - the developers' minds conjured up the Pokémon world through their imagination, yes, but their imagination comes from our world, it is a reflection of it. All the Pokémon creatures you love - they're based on real animals, real people, real myths... All the places in the Pokémon world you dream of visiting? Same thing - based upon real places. Pokémon is ultimately a love letter to our own world - let's not forget that Tajiri made the original games so that children could have a similar experience to his childhood of collecting bugs during the summer. There are many wonderous things on Earth. There aren't any magical animals, but we do have lizards that walk on water, cockroaches that could survive a nuclear winter, undersea creatures that emit light... There are also a ton of interesting places, all with their unique folklore and mythology, with thousands of years of history.Rather than asking yourself “this sucks, why can't it be Pokémon?”, ask yourself “what part of this inspired something I see in Pokémon?”If there's something that the Teraleak has shown us, is that GF does legitimately take its real-world references seriously.
Just play with animals its the same fucking thing you fucking imbecile
