All of them are childish. They are all stories aimed at kids.
Except for Pokemon Adventure manga. That one goes really hard from time to time.

Not because of silly partner move names though. The whole thing is simplified and baby-fied to make it more friendly to kids just getting into Pokemon. That and the ability to pick up the second joycon and shake it to add a second player to help out at any time, make it the game I suggest when someone is looking for a first Pokemon game for a small child.
