Doing a Let's Go playthrough strictly with mons I've never used before, which in Gen 1 is a very short list. Trying to get Parasect over but he just blows. I think Spore is a given and I also am using Tangela so I don't need grass coverage. X-scissor? What TMs?

>>57184320Obviously not every enemy but your point is on it being worth the move slot but in this very common scenario you’re not going to be using it. Flying & Bug are also common types so you’re not getting that much mileage out of it. Having more coverage or utility like Leech Seed or Aromatherapy would be more useful.

Support moves really aren't necessary in this game aside from the occasional sleep move if you want to set up a boost before one-shotting everything.
