Post best spinoff games. I'll start.
>>57191165It's good, but Shadows of Almia is better.
>>57191154Princess Snivy needs correction
Fuck you, it's comfy
>>57191154You already posted peak. What else is there to post?
>>57191154
>>57191172I personally disagree but to each their own
>>57191154>is a second postgame for a game already filled with postgame, in addition to your old gen 1 gamesYup, it's peak.
>>57191201She is so hot and sexy in this gamehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtvMh3aI3Pc

>>57191238Thread finally started
>>57191154im nostalgic for it but playing it now makes it too evident its a baby game for me, it doesnt hold up at all to me outside of nostalgia. while most autists became furries because of pmd this game is what did it for me sadly>>57191165this is the true objectively best spinoff, i wish the main series took more pages from it (even though the teraleak confirms it sorta did)
>>57191238>Stadium rulesets facilitate a pseudo Battle Frontier with enemy AI themes designed around each NPC's motif and different strategies to abuse>Throw in a handful of minigames that are genuinely really fun to play solo or with the boys/family>Also a sort of mini-story mode where the player battles through the gym leaders (including a Team Rocket appearance to mirror their radio tower takeover in GSC) of Johto, an Elite Four challenge with a Move Relearner as a reward for completion then a Kanto Gym Leader mode where you unlock Red at Mt Silver as a final battle>Can emulate the GBC games at up to x4 speed>Earl's Pokemon Academy teaching you all sorts of shit about the deeper mechanics of the game from stuff like STAB to weather to Thunder hitting targets in the air and Stomp having double damage and 100% accuracy on targets using Minimize >3D customizable bedroom>Mystery GiftsWhite City...I'm home...
>>57191154Does anyone else remember when people were panicking that Pokepark 2 would be Japan-only? I remember that era very well, yet it seems to be completely memory-holed from the entire fandom...
>>57191218Based
>>57191819it's called white forest
I'm the resident Snap defender, about the only think I dislike is New Snap being slightly padded (do we really need four different types of pictures for the same Pokemon?), aside from that it's an interesting take on rail shooters and very nice score attack titles in general.

>>57191154>Wii shovelware>GoodI wish all contrarians would just fucking kill themselves because being alive is too mainstream so they have to kill themselves to be cool.
>>57192613Actually, I think people just stopped talking about it because... it came out of Japan.People are much more likely to remember the game itself more than the 2 months before.
>>57193151Have you considered yet that different people may like different things, or is that outside of your purview?
>>57191202I liked it as a kid at least
>>57193394I know that, but people still discuss things like Operation Rainfall to this very day. While Pokepark 2's panic wasn't as big as O.R., it was still enough of a panic that it should've left SOME lasting impact on Pokepark 2's discussions...
>>57192613I remember wondering if the first would be localized because PokéPark was a Japanese theme park. I also had this impression that Pokémon on the Wii was kind of... lacking? As much as people fellate PBR, I bought it back in 2007 and even then I felt it was kind of a mediocre battle facility simulator that didn't hold up to the Stadium or Orre games. I was also so disappointed at how it didn't measure up to the reveal trailer in terms of camera and visuals. The game felt very unfinished, and I owned both Diamond and Pearl at the time. This isn't even mentioning that the Japanese version was a Wii launch title and was even more unfinished. Then there was Ranch. It was Box, but more as a screensaver. Kind of eh, there's stuff to do, but I like the "higher resolution game" aesthetic that Box was going for over the chibi model Pokémon and Miis, gives me that impression of shovelware. The Platinum update never even left Japan either. Then there were the three Mystery Dungeon WiiWare games that also never left Japan. WiiWare in general gave me that feeling of lesser games, especially with how DSiware was treated. And of course there was the first Rumble game, and they're still going with these budget chibi Pokémon models, but at the very least it got localized. Suffice it to say, but I remember PokéPark not feeling like a sure thing, especially during the era where Pokémon console spin-offs were being phoned in, rushed, unlocalized, or had a several month waiting period before localization was even announced. And then with PokéPark 2, that was around the time interest in the Wii from Nintendo's more hardcore fanbase was dying down. Skyward Sword was the last major release and 2012 felt like life support games like Mario Party and the Kirby collection.
the thought of someone thinking a pokemon game wouldnt leave japan is really stupid when (game console wise) its only happened with tcg gb 2 and some pokemon mini stuff. they know theyll make money regardless
>>57194600and yes i know about tretta lab and 1000 pokemon those are glorified ads not video games shut up
>>57194600And what about the three Mystery Dungeon versions on the Wii that never got officially localized? They didn't even bother to localize Ranch's Platinum update, and that prevented main game connectivity.
>>57191154Mystery Dungeon already posted.
>>57194632I played this and it was lame as hell. The way you have to conquer new territories, the way catching mons work, the outdated gameplay. It just sucks
>>57191154Baste. I really liked Darkrai's arc. This was just a perfect smaller scale soulful game that to this day has better 3D pokemon than the main series, especially with animations.
>>57194632>>57194711I really wanted to like this game, but yeah it's not great. plus the whole main campaign basically being a long tutorial. great concept, meh execution. would like to see it revisited but it probably won't be.
>>57193037Snap is my favorite too, but I have a different problem with New Snap. It doesn't let you interact with the pokemon as much as the original. I actually think the four types of pictures are a good thing.
>>57191218I've only played the first one on Wii, but I love it so much. I totally need to check out the rest of the series sooner or later.
>>57193151Shit taste.
Kicking Haxorus's ass in return was honestly so fun.
>>57191218Just downloaded this to try it out. Love that the mons stare at you when you press B if they don't have a move.
>>57191154>>57191165I like Pokepark and Ranger, but Explorers of Sky is easily the best and it's not even close.
>>57199999>>57200000
>>57200788Witnessed. Why do the incense with gutter opinions always get the GETs? The 50000000 one was a pedo, and we're coming up on 60000000 likely within this year. Watch it be some hurtcore animalfucker who hates all pokemon games.
