I still want to cultivate a different experience but never intended to take this server away if Bisect finally gave it back to me. They finally got their shit together and we're paid up so enjoy. Nether/End and inactive chunks were reset, all builds should be fine.

Bunny screwed over the Winter gen fanbase by cancelling the map reset without even allowing clique changes like they said they would in December 2024 and does not deserve your support for these gross badmin practices.

See, when I first dropped the server in the beginning of December, I had time to do two things I hadn't had the luxury to do as of yet. I incremented the performance of the server until there were NO ram and cpu bottlenecks to support 17 people. That was the first thing. The second thing was I spent time pre-generating the DH cache before distributing it with the pack so for as long as people were building mostly within 600 meters of spawn, they had good performance and a decent draw distance even if the server draw was a measly 6 chunks.Right now I'm trying to do both of those things again. I'm working with kiwiadmin to increase the resources allocated to the server, and then I'm going to fix the pack in regards to performance once and for all. Since we're out of the holidays I'm getting more chances to focus on it.

Ok cool, the kiwiadmin and I got things set up, here's the new server specs:AMD Ryzen™ 9 9950XDDR5 @ 5200 MHzNVMe SSD RAIDZ11 Gbit Multi-blendOn our plan, we get 8 threads and 32GB RAM which is overkill just like last month, but costs half as much, so it's twice as sustainable. At least one person told me the difference was night and day. I might adjust it down or up depending on demand but the expectation is you guys should not have to experience server lag.Now the next thing to work on is the pack. v3.1 technically works, stripped down or not, but none of you seem happy with it at all. With the weird cpu bullshit going on, I don't blame you. I know it's basically a meme at this point, but let me experiment a bit and try to put together a stable revision of it and I'll get back to yall. I'm sure no one will mind the revision very much if it also means we can add bottle caps and craftable ability patches/capsules among other things.
