Eventually my brothers got picked up from school and my mom called me and told me to get out of school cause they were there for me but I was pissed about having to do this all the time so I just said fuck it and turned myself in. So it was a rocky couple of years with my parents both trying to get clean to get custody of us. But my dad was a shit head who was doing stuff more to hurt her and my mom was dumber but had her heart in the right place. I ended up becoming an adult before she got custody of the rest of my brothers. So I never really put in the effort of buying new pokemon games myself until recently when I got Lets Go pikachu/eevee to play with my girlfriend (now wife). Ended up going full autist pokemon since to make up on lost time, semi burned out after playing hardcore through lets go, Galar, Legends, Go, and Paldea. But pocket tcg caught my attention and it hooked me so hard I wanted to chat about it and decided 'Hey, I never checked out vp before maybe they are cool' and I don't know what I was expecting.Thanks for listening.
