Ancient Power as an evolution mechanic is neat. A secondary way to access prehistoric pokemon as an almost "de-evolution" system, from what I can tell from the three examples we get. I kinda wish GF would touch on this evo method more.

But over time and changing environment they just lost the ability to evolve into them because that evolution and extra strenght isn't needed for the species to survive anymoreIt's like animals losing features they once had or those features shrink down because they don't need them anymore

>>57229111The dex entry for Yanmega doesn't speak to it. There's a dex entry for Tangrowth that suggest it isn't adapted for warm climates. Mamoswine has several dex entries mentioning population decline at the end of the ice age and one entry saying Mamoswine was thought to have been extinct.

What ideas for an ancient power evolution would you want to see? It's stupid seeing as how that's basically UB's gimmick but that's just GF.
