>TQA highly traditional marriage. He puts bread on the table and I care for the house and bake cookies. When he has a bad day at the office/Pokemon League, I'll be there to offer him all the kisses, cuddles, and nursing handjobs he wants. The only thing I ask for in return is that he keeps me alive and enables my interest in hoarding vintage grandmacore knicknacks from the 80s and imported kawaii goods. I would sooner chase him away with a broom than let him try to "help" because he would just get in the way of my housework since I'm picky about how I do things. I hope (assume) he's not lazy at home because life is much smoother imo when we're constantly trying to outdo each other 'so the other doesn't have to~'But chorewise we're pretty trad; he's breadwinner, I'm house manager. I'm sure the work evens out and he helps a bit with certain tasks. I'll gladly retire to rear kids those spoiled shits are getting homeschooled and he's a hands-on dad.We take care of each other as needed. I love how warm and caring he is beneath the surface appearance and definitely crave it despite not requiring much maintenance myself. I like nice people. I want to protect them and return their love and affection. If he's happy, I'm happy. Once in a blue moon he'll just crash and retreat for a day or so, and I'm perfectly content to hold him while he copes with the horrors of life, offering my quiet presence and support.

Other than being protective/jealous sometimes, he doesn't feel like he needs to be the more dominant one, like we would be equals in most ways in the relationship. I'd support his goal to become a cook, so I like to imagine that he opens his own restaurant at some point and we could work there together. He would definitely put his heart into it, doing his best to be the best that he could at his job.I actually like that he's not set on being the top Pokemon champion or the best at battling, I feel like life would be full of coziness with him, simple pleasures that make him happy and smile brightly. A nice hike with a pretty view or a really delicious meal. He deserves it so much after everything that he's been through.Emotionally, he's been through some shit so I'm sure that he'll still have some hard and dark moments, but I would be there right by his side to hug him and help him work through them.
