The idea of Dragon Dancing only to rely primarily on Dragon Tail as your hardest hitting move is an absurd concept since one of the main draws of DDance, the speed boost, can't apply due to Dragon Tail's -6 Priority, which basically means it'll ALWAYS go last no matter how fast it is, unless you're using a slower Pokemon using its own "force the enemy to switch out" move.

Sure it would make more sense for it to have Dragon Claw but they really wanted to show off that new move and TM ace without having two Dragon STABs on the same mon for "variety".

So players might try to beef up their speed/defenses to overcome the DD boost but then get Dragon Tailed out.
