No longer fears the sticky pebbles thanks to The Boots, too. I don't keep up with VGC too much so I can't talk on that Meta but you'd definitely see good results using one on cart. Volcarona is absolutely a great Pokemon. It is very much "Him", to borrow todays' youth's vernacular.

Mantine too since it's Specially Defensive and Volcarona has few moves it could realistically quickly take it down with. Doesn't help that with the additions of Toxapex, Tapu Fini.
