>>57234680Can you give some more details about your team, your strategy, and what you're struggling with? Besides that, here's some advice, assuming you can't beat Polk:>enemy mons are too bulkyPolk's team is mostly defensive, so some setup moves like Calm Mind will be helpful. Screens are always useful too.>florigrace is blocking meIt's annoying, but Florigrace can't actually do much when it's out. Blast it with high-power neutral hits to wear it down.>urswine is unbeatableIf you don't know, Urswine is holding an item that raises its Special Defense, so get rid of that or focus on physical attacks. Use Taunt to shut it down or set up on it yourself.>my team is weak to fireUse fire-resist berries>how is his team so goodHis team has perfect IVs and is fully EV-trained. You do not have to do the same but if your team always feels shitty compared to the AI, that's why.Remember that Clover is quite a difficult hack, so don't feel bad for struggling with it.
>>57234680>>57234769Forgot to mention this. Frequently, pokemon difficulty hacks amount to "EV trained, balanced team with 2 STAB, 2 coverage moves" or "2 attacks, set up move, heal". You probably don't know how to beat this because you're probably used to doing this in normal Pokemon games as well. But there are a lot of things that can shut it down. Utility moves like Stealth Rock, Taunt, Knock Off, Screens, Baton Pass etc. Clover teams are generally not built to handle Taunt or entry hazards, especially since they love switching so much. Baton Pass is probably the most broken move in the game if you know how to use it. Also take advantage of single-use items like Focus Sash or Weakness Policy (usually you get them from Route Masters), since they come back after important battles.
>>57234769i got stuck at that nazi dudes gym my team wasrectreemfazeagleurswineebolableGlacialynxsjwhalemy strategy was just to have a more or less diverse pokemon team so i have atleast one to counter each trainer but it doesnt really workmaybe i will restart and consider things like ev training i guess thanks for ur answer
>>57234843First, don't restart. Clover's EXP Share makes it easy to swap team members around, you can easily raise new mons. Second, you don't need to EV train except as a last resort. I have beaten the game multiple times and never needed to do so before the postgame. Third, in addition to my earlier advice, Polk has no way to deal with rain, which obviously hurts him a lot.
>>57234680Not sure about Clover, but Sleep + SetUp lets me cheese 95% of boss fights in romhacks
>>57234680Don’t play.
