whenever a new Pokemon game came out did anyone else imagine what pokemon Ash and team rocket would get or was that just me? I thought cramorant would be a shoo-in for a team rocket pokemon cause of its gimmick I'm always surprised ash didn't catch a passimian

It was always fun to imagine what pokemon Ash would get in the new region rather than some girl's journey to find a special paradise that I don't give a dam about. Even now, the only thing that keeping me from dropping Gen 09 anime is Ash's possible return, his possible new pokemon and how he would interact with the new characters.
