What causes someone to have the mindset of the VGCheater? Being a spoiled only child? Inattentive parents? An erosion of morality on a societal scale? Not being bullied enough at an early age?I need to know before I have a child.
Verlisify lost

>>57242355>An erosion of morality on a societal scale?Bingo, cheating is supported at all levels, they only recently started to crack down more. World champions have used hacked mobs to win. I remember reading an article back in 2013 about how to make competitive mons, me and a buddy were looking it up, didn’t even know about hacking, and the “guide to making good Pokémon” was just a guide to hack, we looked around and all the public facing literature promoted cheating. Being an empath I got shivers just simulating the mind of such a creature that would write such literature, my buddy, however, did not care, it made me think different of him, a lost soul.
>>57242355>An erosion of morality on a societal scale?this>>57242374>they only recently started to crack down moreno they haven't, outside of Japan; as Verlisify notes, International covers it up and looks the other way
>>57242374>>57242427Sure, the mons were genned in, but the point of the competitive game is the battles. Since no one uses anything but perfect IV mons, it doesn't grant any kind of competitive advantage, just speeds up a tedious prior process that has nothing to do with the actual matches. Could you explain what the problem is? From my perspective, I genuinely don't understand how it does anyone harm
>>57242447Half of Pokemon is the collection and raising aspect. The other half is battling. Competitive is played on actual games on real consoles, not a simulator. Therefore the first half, the collection and raising, cannot be eschewed. And this is what hack checks look for. You cannot omit that half when complaining about competitive, because it is a fundamental part of Pokemon.
