>>57250477I don’t like it. I prefer the right despite how minimalist it is due how clunky the concept art building looks. Especially since the mount Lanakila league was supposed to blend in with the environment. The final design’s door being built into the glacier and looking like artwork of one of those sped up night sky photos gets the point across better and in a more simple way. It also allowed for the interior to be more natural with the cave, chasm, ice platforms, and the clear ice ceiling in the champion dome. The original design feels too developed with the fancy paved road leading up to a bunch of screens projecting a sky to try to hide the outline of a giant metal traffic cone. Feels like a building whose anrchitect needed it to be big while simultaneously ashamed of it being built. That or they were at least trying to avoid a riot from the local populace hating the fact it was built on the mountain. Also, by how metallic, glowing, and tall it is, I’d expect some futuristic stale interior like the dp elite four or paldea elite four room(s). Especially since the exterior is plastered with those turquoise lights they always slap on everything in those areas.
