Gleerok Edition>I want to learn the game, where do I begin?Download PTCGL at https://tcg.pokemon.com/en-us/tcglThe game has a quick tutorial and a bunch of decent decks to get you started against other beginners or against the AI. Some of those decks are very close to meta too. You can also go to your local game store and see if people are playing Pokémon.>I know how to play, how do I make my own deck? You have a decent beginner's guide at https://www.justinbasil.com/guideThere's also the old /tcg/ guide at https://imgur.com/a/W4NkOu6After that, look up meta decks and try to reverse engineer them to see how things work.>Where to find meta decks? For big irl events, go to https://limitlesstcg.com/decksFor online events, go to https://play.limitlesstcg.com/decks?game=PTCGFor japanese events, go to https://pokecabook.com/archives/1417Previous thread: >>57223866Old /tcg/ pastebin: https://pastebin.com/Ge95YuMA
/tcc/ is too busy having an aneurysm over the latest set to appreciate cool cards, so I'm posting this here. This is the only normal sized lenticular card. The other 4 are jumbo cards of the Unovan starters and Zoroark.I can understand why these aren't made more often, but they always struck me as a lot cooler than holofoils.
second for a cute!

>>57250929Very cool card anon. I didn't even know these existed.
About how long will it take for people to crack how to make decks that function after the rotation? I'm just starting out playing the TCG and it's a little frustrating knowing the game as I currently know it will die in a matter of months and my preferred deck (Lugia Archeops) is going to be entirely unplayable
>>57251027People make decks pretty fast, they're just not truly refined just yet. It usually takes a big tournament to see how optimal lists would look like.Charizard on release used to be played with arceus vstar before, and bibarel. Eventually the pidgeot version we see today is now the one used>I'm just starting out playing the TCG and it's a little frustrating knowing the game as I currently know it will die in a matter of monthsStill its a good time to start, it's sort of a clean slate for everyone to relearn how decks are built and played after rotation. And if you're playing the online client you'll be given 8 free decks too>and my preferred deck (Lugia Archeops) is going to be entirely unplayableYeah.. it doesn't feel great when your favs rotate. Lugia at least is a really strong deck in expanded still, you can use much stronger special energy like rainbow ones and use any attacker (usually used with the insta KO yveltal). If you're not a fan of expanded just gotta make use of the remaining time it's in standard..
WHY IS BUDEW SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE SHE'S A COMMON CARD I DON'T WANT TO WAIT 4 WEEKS FOR THE PRICE TO GO DOWN FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUC k
>>57251057 You only need one per deck Spent it
>>57251057the price on tcgplayer already dropped by half since the release date. you probably wont even have to wait 4 weeks
Someone mentioned Future Box in the last thread and I was hoping someone could point me to an updated decklist. The newest one I can find is from like April.
>>57251128>The newest one I can find is from like April.https://pokecabook.com/archives/69480Honestly they've not really changed at all. They haven't released any new cards for it to use since. There's been no future/ancient sets release since paradox riftFuturebox is pretty weak as it has a bad match up into a lot of the meta. The iron crowns are liability on the bench and you can't ever ohko 330 HP mons like dragapult. (Charizard can with iron leaves weakness) so you always lose to decks like dragapult
>>57251128Future box is dud bro
Does anyone here use rarecandy or is it just more scalper and by-collector faggotry?
HAUNTED ENERGY REAL NO FAKE
