Having Pokemon fight each other for human entertainment is abuse
>>57265553That's right they're made for breeding
>>57265553didn't Arceus make them that way though? to battle?
>>57265641Arceus is evil
>>57266509Humans are servant race. Have you noticed how their entire society revolves around training pokemon? Pokemon want to be stronger, and training is the way to get stronger. So they use human services to do that.
Here's a Chappy to make up for it!
>>57266617Pokemon can't help falling in love with their servants

waggywaggywaggywaggywaggy!
>>57265553Most Pokémon like to fight and stronger. Pokémon Battles are a better way for them to do that. The ones that don't like it don't have to. Pokémon benefit a lot from being with humans so plenty of Pokémon seek out humans to be their Trainer. You literally posted a Pokémon who Evolves from Affection from humans. Not only that, but one so dressed up too.
why eeveefags don't even understand pokemon?
>>57270164shitbulls were bred to fight but that doesn't mean it's good for them to do it nor is it okay for humans to take advantage of this to justify pit fights. Pokemon battles should be illegal and ARSEus denounced!
>>57271146>bred to fight>love to fightsee the difference
>>57265553I don't think its abuse nor slavery, most (not all) Pokemon love to battle. It makes them stronger, helps some of them evolve into their later forms, and some just like the battle for the thrill or to understand one another (or sometimes their trainer/partner) on a more emotional/deeper level. The whole "I'll learn more about who you are when we fight" deal, like a passionate Boxer. With that in mind there is a question if its exploitative. An entire group of lifeforms who have been commercialized and can be legally taken from their homes to battle or bread for battle or work for them...does seem really ripe for exploit and abuse. But the Pokemon world is generally good natured and respectful of Pokemon's wishes, dreams, and desires. So if a Pokemon didn't want to be with a human, didn't want to fight, or wasn't comfortable for any reason they'd leave and any attempts to force them to stay or do anything against their will would be seen as cruel, wrong, and likely has some laws against those sorta actions.
>>57272064That's part of being bred to fight

>>57271146See what >>57272064 said. Most Pokémon like to fight and get stronger. Being with a human gives them benefits in that regard, also being cared for. Not all Pokémon like Pokémon Battles, so it's beneficial for those ones to have a Trainer.>>57272212All species of Pokémon have human-level cognition at minimum. The Wild Pokémon we see are usually the ones looking humans to be their Trainer. Capturing a Pokémon in a ball the regular way does not capture them in the literal sense. All Pokémon can exit their ball whenever they want.
