Galvantula is the best card in the game right now. Won 5 in a row just now and every win was due to the opponent not being able to retreat like a pussy. 70 damage is perfect for 2 turning most EX and giovanni helps push it to the 80 damage execution range for gay potion users.

give farewell to the meta by posting the deck you liked using the mostmine is this one (only water energy, deckbuilders should hurry up and let you also display that). caterpie is a big fuck you against opposing druddrigons because not only you're setupping something in the bench alongside the opponent, but you're also using up the active slot to deck thin and work towards butterfree. blastoise has enough hp that the healing from butterfree takes you over some important breakpoints, and healing druddrigon could net you 20 extra chip sometimes.another deck I loved was chatot gyara because it's rare that going all in on a concept (using chatot for draw power) results in something playable, but sadly it was only good against celebi so it was dead as soon as people moved on from it in late december. for what it's worth I'm looking forward to experiment with something chatot-centric next expac because tools and new items might raise the quality of nonpokemon cards enough that playing a fuckton of them is good by itself

They said there's going to be over 140 cards and as it turns out, the number of Gen 4 Pokemon and their cross-gen relatives from Gens 1-3 (remember, no evolution card can be orphaned in a single set so they have to print a full line) amounts to exactly 144, and that's not counting split evos from other generations, like Glalie would be to Froslass, or a new Gardevoir to Gallade.There's going to be 10 ex cards, as per usual, five for each pack (Dialga, Palkia, Pachirisu, starters and four others) and it's safe to assume that those will have non-ex variants. Then there are Trainer cards and we're in the vicinity of 160 diamond-rarity cards. If it were so, they would have said 160, not 140.Not to mention, a pure Gen 4 set would be abysmally unbalanced in terms of types, with Fire/Electric deficit and a deluge of Grass, Psychic and Dark types. Pray we'll be getting Dragon types other than Gible line too.
