The card stores that I go to don't have pokemon cards anymore. A new card store that opened two months ago have posters advertising sets like Destined Rivals and Mega Evolution but they don't have them. They told me that they tried ordering more stuff but they didn't get jack shit. I'm curious if this going to be a problem in a couple years. Shit ton of sealed of product wasting away in some scalper's (or supplier's) storage never to be bought because it's overpriced.

For example you might only have a handful of people on your first few hosts but once you get a prerelease booked in suddenly you can fill the store with 10-20 people, do that enough and your allocation will go up. But people can report you if you don't adhere to the rules, for example selling above MSRP, not giving out the correct allocation of packs at Play! events etc then you can be kicked off

2 years ago I went on a spending spree until I ran out of money. Looking at the prices now the obvious truths held up, english, grade 10s, and 1st editions went up significantly more than anything else. I still refuse to buy textured cards in english because they are so ugly so I'll stick to Japanese textured cards. For my collection 8s, 9s are good enough but I'll keep looking for cheap 10s. I knew tag teams were undervalued but I wish I would have gotten more. At the end of the day buy what makes you happy but the tools are there if you want to see charts go up. Pic related are some of my currently most expensive cards, I'm priced out of a lot of cards now unfortunately but I see some stuff I can still pick up before it becomes unaffordable.

Just got my grades back. I'm really pissed about the Vaporeon. I inspected it myself before I sent it in and felt that it was the best card out of all of them and could easily hit a 7 or possibly 9. IDK why they graded it so low. All the other cards I understand, especially the Moltres which had a kink in it.Still PSA was willing to buy it directly off me for 2x the going value on ebay. IRs for example, are typically 1:10, so there should be a good billion of them in circulation from the last year alone.

I'm going to a cardshow soon and it's notorious for having no reception and not being able to price check so I figured I would make a spreadsheet I can check offline for 50 or so cards I'm going to keep an eye out for. Before I do all 50~ is there a better way to do this?
