I liked that Kalos felt like an actual country with a history(all the mentions of Kings of Kalos, wars, etc). The problem was that the main plot was clearly left unfinished.

THIS WORLD IS IMPERFECT….
Sinnoh pits itself as the ultimate region of the first four generations with an explanation of the origin of the legendaries and life itself. It knows you don't actually give a shit about the characters and puts the Pokemon in the forefront as the most important piece of the puzzle. Game Freak thought Platinum was already a perfect game so they decided it wasn't worth remaking and made a prequel instead, making Masuda shit himself about Game Freak wanting to take their time to polish a game instead of shitting it out early for holiday season and contracting work slaves to shit out remakes, damaging his reputation and the franchise even further than he did with LGPE and SwShKalos can't help but kneel to its Hoenn overlords by letting all its unique identity stolen by Hoenn, a bitchmade region that was a stepping stone to get to Sinnoh. Its follow up absolutely DESPISES XY, treating it as a backdrop at best or a hindrance to its own goals at worse. A game that's actively spiteful to what it used to be and tells you "no baby, I'm different now" because of XY's failures as a game and especially as a story. A true humiliation ritual as opposed to 3 years of shitposters thinking PLA were the worst the franchise could get. And even worse, its dex is half the size of XY anyway while PLA's was the same as Platinum's but with a handful of NEW monsAnd the true, honest punchline is DP still outsold XY

>>58505418As the OP of the original question back on this thread, I genuinely do not know much else besides life and death things as them being used make the weapon. I dont really know what their origins are, their importance, etc... besides being used as a plot device. It was a geniune question
