Ice Fang is too huge a commitment for a whole lot of "your teammates won't follow up", I only ever take it if the enemy team has one clear dedicated carry that is weak to CC. Something like a Beamsaur for example.

Confuse Ray is very funny against Darkrai, you make it waste its charges on its teammates and they get nuked because of how Darkrai's autos work.
I wouldn't say it's a good counter but it does reduce their effectiveness so long as your team can handle having a Sableye

Megas are broken in their own ways with Lucario being Perma unstoppable and Zard having bloated stats.

You know how Megas are causing havoc in Unite, they do this in the Main game too, the only way to fight a Mega is with a Mega while Mons without Megas just suffers

You can say we're back in OP Legendaries Meta when Timi was coming up with a dumb concept of Team Leader Mons being a thing and just wouldn't admit that Legends were OP crap that needed proper Nerfs
