I just wish the anime didn't look like pure shit. Is anyone happy with how it looks? I don't necessarily have an issue with the JN/HZ style (although it's starting to show its age) but rather a real lack of looseness in HZ's production. Takeshi Maenami, Ayaka Koide, Yoshida, Aito Ohashi, Toru Iwazawa... we used to have so many freelancers that took the relatively plain looking style we currently have and bring it to life. Nowadays most of the battles are done in-house and it's a rarity to get a cool cut. Hell, the majority of Horizons has lacked in freelancer cuts (it started so fucking strong).
