Got one of those missions that has given me a Mighty Rapidash but the event is over. How the fuck do I catch it without safari balls? I have used 200+ ultra balls so far and 30 golden raspberries (no more left now) and have gotten the ball to wiggle 3 times but it comes out every time.

Well I got a shiny Garchomp for silver bottlecap.It's probably the lamest shiny in the game because the difference is barely perceptible. And SHE was 15/15/14, so I'm not changing much. But Garchomp is cool, and SHE is XXL, and Garchomp will always be high-tier. I had no other hundo candidate anyway. Plus SHE us a female and I have a thing for big scalie women.

The selection of pokemon this time around had a good number of my favorites>hatterene, gardevoir, mawile, meowscarada, absol, a.vulpix, tinkatink, feebas, espurrIt's rare to get a line up that good.The mighty gimick was neat, though I already had either hundos or close-to-hundo shinies for my favorites, so I was just tossing pokeballs at most to see if I'd get lucky. I only found one shiny mighty (weavile), and seven shiny altogether, though Shiny Darkrai was definitely my highlight for the event. Overall, 8/10 event, with the major way to improve it being upping the shiny chance on mighties.
Use my bottlecap on an XXL Gardevoir, it only has 14s in the other two stats and would still need to be powered up. Or on a Wigglytuff for PVP, it'd be a rank 3 after the bottlecap. Or a Glaceon, it'd end up rank 47.

These all have over 90%iv for gbl and they all have their best competitive moveset. This is basically all I do now, get pokemon ready for pvp but I never even battle anymore. Why am I like this, and what team would you use out of these guys?

I got a hundo Honchcrow, Weavile and Absol. Also got a shiny TTar. Overall pretty good weekend and I didn't spend a dime. My only complaint is there were way too many Rapidash spawns.

Really agonizing about this silver cap.I wanted to use it on a shiny, but I have no truly ideal candidates. I've got a chandelure, garchomp, salamance, and a few other shinies missing one stat in order to be a shundo, and just about every sort of non-shiny which I could turn into a hundo, but of the two I really wanted (ralts or charmander families), I don't have any with 2 maxed stats.Part of me just wants to finally put my from-launch quest for a hundo regular charmander, but that almost feels like a waste of the cap.I thought I had figured it out down to two pokemon, who I would hope to max out later with a second silver cap down the road, but I just learned that anyone that gets bottlecapped can't be transferred to Home, and that sounds absolutely awful, basically trapping the pokemon in Go forever. Sure, I don't really expect to transfer them out in the next decade or two, but losing the option actually matters to me, especially since shiny Zacian is hard to get otherwise.Do I just throw it at some non-shiny gameplay mon?

How do Dmax/Gmax battles actually work? What makes for a 'good team'? It doesn't look like you need to worry about CP or even evolving your pokemon. Is it really just a matter of maxing out your max moves with a shitton of candy and particles?
