>>58643134Speaking of megas, most people probably know this but in case someone doesn't:When you mega evolve a pokemon it stays active for 8 hours unless you mega something else. So whatever type it is, in addition to getting extra candy it also boosts the attacks of other pokemon of that type like in a raid. Not your own pokemon, but the other peope in the raid. The bonus lasts as long as your mega is on the raid battlefield. UNLESS.. You use Rayquaza, Groudon, or Kyogre, then they each benefit additional type(s) (see above post) but they just have to be in your raid party, not actually "out" on the field in use. That is why they are so special. So, you definitely want to use those three when you need them, and have them all at max mega level.

Shadow is a flat 20% damage bonus, both outgoing and incoming. A 0-IV shadow technically outperforms a 15-IV regular/purified, but that doesn't mean it's worth investing in, especially in the short term. If the IVs are bad and you've already evolved it, consider purifying it so it can be maybe useful now, or just dump it and wait for the next one.
