If you're ever benching in zone 18 for Fennekin, you can look at the Eevee first since a shiny Fennekin has a longer draw distance. You can see it on your way back to the bench and you don't need to up to the barrier to see.

My ribbon quest continues. With the discovery I can’t increase happiness beyond 160 from running around, I’ve shifted to hunting the curry mark while I raise happiness. After moving everyone that can go into SV where it’s faster and easier to raise happiness for the same ribbon, I’m left with just under two boxes to camp with. I think the curry mark is 100% on anything that shows up, so that’s at least nice. Will probably have less encounters than the other two mark hunts though it’s full odds and related to the sociability so very unlikely anything will show up let alone shine.

I got a shiny Snom after 1005 encounters in Shield. I was just about to stop playing too!now I only need one more shiny and I can finally finish the game lol
After 3,383 resets, I finally nabbed Shiny Arceus. Started this hunt around the time Z-A released, just casually resetting on my OLED switch. Easy breezy, but that doesn't diminish how excited I am to finally get this shiny. Playing on the latest firmware, and I didn't have any issues with BDSP crashing, but I was anxious the whole time. I'll never trust that mess of a game. It wasn't over until I saved twice and evacuated it to Home.

I think my game is bugged, because I cannot spawn a shiny manectric or electrike I've reset in the lab tons of times, and done the bench reset in area 9 for so many hours. I've got like 300 hours in this game, and this line is always adjacent to the thing I'm hunting, and yet they just never shine. I spawned the noivern in the lab as shiny like six times at this point, and I've got three shinies of the metagross line in various balls now, and houndoom/houndor, but not the electric doggo. Feels wrong.
