Based on how they did it in SwSh's DLC, where all 6 Regis, including the two new ones, weren't shiny locked (because they don't appear in the overworld) but Kubfu, the Galarian Birds, and Calyrex and his Horses were (because they DO appear in the overworld), they probably don't want mons to appear normal in the overworld but shiny once the battle starts. And since in their infinite stupidity the postgame SV legendary encounters spawn in the overworld and it only generates the actual Pokemon (and rolls for it to be shiny) once you interact with them, then that means they're gonna shiny lock them.The only counter to this is that Virizion/Cobalion/Terrakion weren't shiny locked and they also appear in the overworld, so really who fucking knows.

I just finished the game with 92 hours played. I wanted to take my sweet time since I've been waiting for Pokémon Z since the release of XY. I remember being in the midnight release haha.I basically did a PoC without intending to do it; I just couldn't get the Alpha Chespin line, the Alpha fossils and the exclusives to zone 20, but I did get every screw and get to A rank in both seasons. I mainly finished it today because of the release of Zygarde in ranked battles.I finished with 540-ish battles, level 48 in the Mable's research and 215 Pokémon catched. It was fun; I avoided using online guides and Serebii. For online, I even avoided Smogon and just went with Glaceon and freeze dry strat, Mega Gyarados and Soft Sand Garchomp: i got into the meta without knowing hahaHowever, since the game leaked, I knew that I was going to hunt the Shiny Alpha Fossils eventually, and I'm making arrangements for that: would buying 960 fossils and a turbo controller work fine for hunting? Or would you guys go with macro stuff? I've used automation programs in gen 8 and 9, so that wouldn't be an issueIf the info that twitter threw at me randomly, it is a 1/100 for the fossils and a regular shiny chance, not affected by the charm, right?
