You can reasearch those things yourself but sure

1- heal at a pokemon center to establish a backup save
2 - go to hotel Z and make the best sweet (pink) donut you can, with hyper berries. see if you get alpha power lvl 2 or better. if you don't, turn off the game, and in the splash screen press Up + X + B to load from the backup save. Repeat until you get a Alpha power lvl 2 donut
3 - Bench reset until you get a hyperdimension portal with amaura on it, when you get it, heal at a pokemon center to establish another backup save
4 - enter that hyperdimension, see if the amaura group is right next to the spawn, so you can spam fast travel to the portal entrance to respawn them, or next to a teleporter that you can use to travel out of their spawn and in to respawn them, if not, reload from the backup save and try again until you get a good spot
5 - Spam fast travel to the portal / apam A on the teleporter depending on what you decided to do, if by the end you didn't get amaura, reload from the backup save

it's not just using a random teleporter, it needs to be a teleporter that moves you far away enough to despawn them, then back to their spawn range, it's usually harder to find the perfect position for this compared to just getting the pokemon you want next to the entrance portal and fast travel spam, but it is slightly preferable because you lose less seconds

No idea exactly because i realised it was the same one quite a bit later. But i rerolled the zone to get 2 Bax spawns around me (it was a 5 star scanned raid) so i can tp spam hunt both spots. Eventually managed to get one in one of the spots (medium map, btw) caught it and ran from the others to reset. Once out of combat i TP'd to save. After that i might have restarted game tho not sure. Imo teleport spamming is only really useful on the small maps.
If you have the Pokémon you want to hunt right in front of you on the larger maps, and don't want anything else, it can also work. But they typically have multiple groups of whatever you want as well. So aside from Pokémon that spook easily I still prefer to run around on the larger maps, and if I don't get what I want I just reset the game and start over. Which you can't do with flight spam as it autosaves.

ZA needs serious mechanical fixes related to movement speed as well as Phys/Spec balance.
Most special moves take twice as long to come out and your targeting distance puts you in range of an equally powerful phys move, they are also substantially easier to avoid.
Switching mons should incur some kind of damage penalty rather than using it as a better version of protect.
Some level of control of your mon's distance from the trainer needs to be implemented too. Even if it's just the RB and LB shoulders to move your mon further or closer to you.
The free for all format also sucks and should be relegated to a side show.

I'd be okay with never playing another turn-based pokemon again. It's too rigid to be interesting and going through the game always plays out the same way. PvP can be fun, but it's not as interesting as Z-A's could potentially be if they supported multiple battle modes with different rulesets.

Absolutely, it feels half-baked in its current state and needs more polish/fixes. The targeting and repositioning is the biggest one; like why the fuck do Dig/Bounce/Fly/Etc remove lock-on and prevent you from using defensive moves? Why can't you just tell your pokemon to use a special attack from where it's currently standing, or command it to go somewhere else before using it?

I don't know about switching since it does have a vulnerable period afterward, but it's true that being able to dodge anything is strong and the other half of their their solution to that where they limit how often you can use it also limits the usefulness of moves like Wish and thus the number of strategies you can incorporate into your team. Rather than needing to rely on switching, it'd be nice if there were some sort of not-all-powerful defensive option that doesn't require a move slot to help deal with unavoidable moves. Less 1-shots could lead to more interesting battles too.

I'm just basing this off of PvE, the current ranked grind, and a few 1-on-1s though so if the rules of the modes we have were different then that might change a few things. I don't completely hate the FFA mode because it can let even weak pokemon shine, but they at least need more competitive modes too. Also, abilities need to come back in some way. Pokemon like Electross, Klefki, or Malamar get totally screwed over by not having those. If they want to keep the same stats as the previous games for everything, they need to bring the abilities with them too. If any are broken, it'd be a good chance to rebalance them.

Of course, it's GameFreak so I don't expect any of this.

Fun fact, if the forced shiny from [specific type] Lv3 is in a spawner >70 units (I assume) away from entry, ideally with a bunch of irrelevant spawners occupying the nearer/in-between slots, then you don't even have to keep reloading your backup save beyond that to reroll for alpha-ness and other specifics. Regular loading is effective and efficient.
Assumedly works best in multi-type Large rifts. Results are likely worse on anything smaller or more type-limited.

You still have to reset but if there's a Dragon or Psychic (depending on which power you used) within range of the wormhole then you'll get one of those guaranteed. I know Latios has Altaria and Noivern near the entry point.

Someone I confided in crashed out on me today while I was talking abotu shiny hunting he said that if I really wanna do it for the DLC I need to actually beat the DLC first because at that point not only do you get better donuts but you'll also be able to stay in the zones longer to keep triggering respawns.

Instead of shiny hunting I was filling the living dex and I only shiny hunted a little before beating Darkrai, but I was being autistic about not wanting to waste any berries and was actually shiny hunting without any sparkling power. Once I got through to Rayquaza and more information about how to optimize your donuts came out it got easier, but it honestly doesn't matter. Just play at your own pace. It's just a game, it don't matter.

Some of them, yes, but some mons seem to be locked into certain spots once the distortion spawns. I had an Ice/Rock/Grass distortion once and no matter how many times I restored the backup save and went back in, a couple of specific spawns stayed as Galarian Mr. Mime/Scyther(Kleavor)/Quilladin(Chesnaught).

You don't need 5*, 4* is fine for grinding berries.
You use 8x Kasib to make a donut that has Item Power Berries and Big Haul. You want level 3 of at least one of the two, with both being ideal.
Then you hop into a medium 4* and do laps completing every taks and opening every pokeball, including the golden.
You end up getting like 70 of the top berries, and very likely over 8 Kasibs, so you can do it again right away.

I pretty much just use red, blue, and green donuts when running random 4*s and end up with tons of the good berries
Of course if you don't like running distortions then by all means farm em with item power
But you don't explicitly need them to be swimming in good berries

I went and did an attempt to give you a rough estimate of what to expect.
To the left you see the berries I had before going into the 4*.
Middle is the 4* I went to and what donut I used. Chose this one just because it had a Swamper that I hadn't caught yet, nothing else special about it.
To the right is how many berries I exited with.

In total, I got 110 berries in a single medium 4*. Discount the 8 I used beforehand to make the donut and that's still over 100 berries in a single attempt.
100% recommend this method.
