new player here! got base Lucario already, will my level 12 selector thing on the license journey allow me to select Mega Lucario to work towards or are megas excluded?

If the selector thing is the one with the orange background, that one lets you choose any pokemon in the game to work towards, including megas.

You do not need to own the base license to obtain a mega license. Of note with the mega licenses, they only have one moveset, so if you wanted to use the other moveset you'd need the base license. Mega Lucario, for example, only has PuP and CC, if you wanted to play Bone Rush/Extreme Speed, you'd have to use regular Lucario.

Game is unironically gonna lose so much players with the new way you unlock Pokémon. Not only do you rarely choose what to unlock but it's also basically just as slow as before. Once you're done with the battlepass you might as well stop playing because it's the only significant way of making progress towards unlocking stuff

yeah, it really fucking blows as a new player. I have disposable income so I don't care about just straight up buying the pokemon, especially since there is a holiday sale going on right now but it just flat out takes way too fucking long to get who I want.
it takes soul crushingly long to get the journey tokens or w/e they are called, I think I get like max 10-20 a day and you need like 400-1600 for a level with pokemon you probably don't want.

I really love playing Zoroark after I tried him with a 3 day free trial, if I wasn't forking over money i'd have to wait until TIER FOURTY FUCKING SEVEN (God knows that'd take literal months to get to btw) or use one of the selectors which also take a long ass time to grind.
I think mega lucario was like, 1860 tokens or some shit when you selected him? fucking insane.

Comfey probably doesn't need it, cause if you're always attached to somebody you're always gonna get their shared exp. Might even nerf the mon depending on how exactly it works should the exp get eaten from the one they're attached to.
Sableye can also get exp. from setting up kills or score goblining, so really I don't think any mon truly wants Exp. Share now. Maybe a SoloQ Moonlight Clefable if you don't wanna run the risk of your team never grouping up with you.

Supports and Tanks benefitted a whole lot since the change, being able to have three items instead of two makes a big difference, also they seem to lvl up a lot faster than before

I even tested out Drain Kiss/Follow Me Clefable with Shell Bell/SP Specs/Focus Band and SP Drive/SP Specs/Focus Band

The Shell Bell is simply to make sure she gets healed while providing CDR and a bit of SP, she can Solo Objectives and clutch in fights sometimes
>Second Build
I like this one the most as it synergies with all her moves and kit, Real Big Shields, Real Big Heals with Focus Band for more Survivability probably can go Rescue Hood for more Shield and Heal, but relies heavy on snowballing

Drain Kiss still needs it's damage nerf reverted, but it's slightly better now when you can build a lot of Special Attack for it.
Also to add Choice Specs and Curse Bangle are options.

P.S. I'm so bored of Moonlight, I don't want to be a healing totem anymore, I want to fight, I want to KILL

How the heck do I fight these Broken Megas and Eevees as Dodrio!?
I do fine until everyone start going super saiyin and machine guns that's is when the crap hits the fan and I can't do anything anymore, can't even outrun anything unless I use my Ult except Glaceon's Unlimited Supply Of Heatseeking Suppositories which needs to have a diminishing range limit..

Gigaton Hammer just make you free food and very predictable as the Unstoppable won't save Tink from her own fragility as she doesn't get any defense mechanism like Damage Reduction or Shields like the other All-Rounders got, can't even win most 1v1 like the other All-Rounders, also it seems the Unstoppable isn't working half the time, I win more with Smack Down because I don't want to get close to all the CC and Damage these Megas bust out while getting Swiss Cheesed Glaceon as desperately try to charge my Gigaton Hammer then never get it off because I died
